Founded in 1872, Furness Golf Club is the 3rd oldest links and the 6th oldest golf club in England and probably the best kept golfing secret in the North West. Located on the Furness peninsula, it offers a stunning backdrop of the Lakeland hills and spectacular views across the Irish Sea to the Isle of Man. A true links experience that you cannot afford to miss. It offers a fair but challenging test of golf for all abilities.

COURSE NEWS: COURSE IS OPEN TODAY. HOLES 5, 6, 7, 13 AND 14 ARE CLOSED.

COURSE NEWS: Visitors please check with the club before booking. Due to this very wet weather we are having to date, some holes may be closed. Holes 2, 3, 4, 8 and 9 (along with the back nine) are now open for play, but holes 5, 6 and 7 remain closed until further notice due to waterlogged areas. The left hand bunkers on the 2nd will be GUR as they are being worked on.

EVENTS NEWS: Come along to see ELYSIUM perform their Rock and Pop tunes on Saturday April 13, 7.30pm. This a FREE EVENT, so don’t miss it!
