Welcome to Furness Golf Club

Furness Golf Club is the 6th oldest golf club in England. It is situated on the South West peninsular of the Lake District with spectacular views across the Irish Sea and Black Combe to the North. Providing a true links experience, the natural coastline combined with the brilliant hole design can leave players of all abilities breathless. The course is enduringly popular with visitors to the Lake District. Visitors return regularly for an interesting and challenging experience balanced with our panoramic views of the stunning coastline.

A Championship standard 18 hole links golf course which benefits from its location and provides an extended playing season during to colder months.

The club hosts a number of popular open events throughout the season and in the clubs 140th anniversary year (2012), the club was proud to have hosted both the County Gents Strokeplay Championships and the County Ladies Championship.
