The course is 18 holes set along the shore line off  Walney Island at the tip of the Furness Peninsular.

The present course is 5976 yards long from the yellow tees with a par of 71 and SSS of 69. The medal course (white tees) measures 6304 with par of 71 and SSS of 70.
