General

  • Organisers of visiting parties are held responsible for their members and accompanying guests and should read the conditions below before booking
  • All facilities of Furness Golf Club are available to members of visiting golfing societies on the day.
  • Final numbers of the visiting party must be advised at least 3 days prior.  All catering needs must be by prior arrangement with the Club Steward.
  • All matches are to commence from the first tee on the yellow markers unless directed otherwise
  • If any further information is required, please don’t hesitate to contact the Club

Dress Rules

On the course:

  • Collared shirts and tailored trousers or shorts and golf type footwear.  Denim trousers, running shorts, singlets or tee shirts, football team colours and scarves are not acceptable dress.

In the Clubhouse:

  • Smart casual wear is preferred throughout.

Insurance

  • No liability will be accepted by the Club for any articles damaged or stolen during the visit.  Visitors are advised to provide their own insurance cover.
  • Visitors parking vehicles in the Club car park do so at their own risk.  No liability will be accepted by the Club for vehicles damaged or stolen.
  • Visitors using ride on golf buggies do so at their own risk.  No liability will be accepted by the Club for personal or third party injuries caused by use of such vehicles.

  • Visitors are advised to provide their own insurance cover for personal and third party liability.

Buggy Policy

Single seater and twin seater buggies are permitted on the course, subject to course conditions. Any player wishing to bring a buggy must contact the Secretary’s Office in advance to discuss your requirements. On the day, if the course conditions are not suitable, no buggies will be allowed.

Please note there are no buggies available for hire.
